The Dental Longevity Method
Functional movement and posture for dental professionals.
Long hours in static, forward-fixed positions place unique demands on the dental clinician’s body. This course introduces participants to functional movement screening and postural assessment as applied to dentistry, covering the postural deviations most common among clinicians—forward head posture, rounded/elevated shoulders and anterior pelvic tilt—and the movement compensations that develop around them.
Participants will learn a practical framework for assessing their own movement and posture, and will be guided through corrective mobility and stability exercises targeting the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, thoracic spine and hips. Emphasis is placed on strategies clinicians can apply between and after patient appointments to support better alignment and reduce cumulative postural strain over a career.

Your career should outlast your body’s patience
Most dental professionals spend their days folded forward, twisted toward a patient, and holding still under load. This course replaces that pattern with a repeatable method for moving well, so the work stays sustainable.
Reset your operating posture
Learn neutral positioning at the chair that protects your neck, shoulders, and lower back through a full patient day.
Prevent the injuries that end careers
Identify the loading patterns behind chronic clinician pain before they become surgery, time off, or early retirement.
Recover in the gaps you already have
Practical between-patient resets that take under ninety seconds and need no equipment or change of clothes.
Coach your whole team
Take home cues and drills you can teach hygienists and assistants so the entire operatory works better.
What the three hours cover
Why dentistry breaks bodies
The biomechanics of sustained static loading, and an honest look at the postures the profession quietly accepts as normal.
The functional movement screen
A guided self-assessment of mobility, stability, and breathing mechanics, with your individual findings mapped to chairside risk.
Building your daily method
Hands-on practice of the reset sequence, plus a personalized plan you leave the room already knowing how to run.
The Office Wellness Program
Looking for something for your entire team? The Office Wellness Program is a separate, on-site group wellness journey for your whole staff—it is not a CE course.
